The Myth of the $.5 Million Flyover

People are still debating if we, the taxpayers, got our money’s worth from the Super Bowl flyover of F-18s.   The debate underscores how journalists are often unable to grasp simple concepts of finance, such as the difference between fixed costs, and incremental costs.
